We all know that Koreans especially the ladies has that "Glow" and you keep wondering how do they achieve that very youthful glow? What brands are they using? Where can I get one?
Here in the Philippines, K Beauty/ Korean Beauty is not new in the Beauty Industry. It actually has a BIG MARKET. K Beauty is known for various Skin Care Products and as well as Makeup Products. A lot of people are raving about Korean Skin Care and some of them are making this as a daily routine to achieve that "Korean Look"
Since K Beauty is SO popular here in the Philippines, Althea Korea is the first site in the Philippines that has all KBeauty needs for Pinays!

How does this Work?
Every month they realease a "themed box" that includes 7 full sized products for you to try! Althea was kind enough to sent me a box to review! For this month of August I got "Double Trouble " box which is for blemished and troubled complexions. Right now, I don't really have a problem with my skin. YET. So i'll probably save this when i get breakouts 😅
What's Inside the Box?
I'll try my best to link the products listed down below, bc some of them are not available on the site. 🤘🏽
- It's a cleansing soap that hydrates and soothes troubled skin. This soap is highly recommended for those who has irritated skin, clogged skin due to excessive sebum (meaning oil) and tight and dry after cleansing.
Smells very earthy to me, What I like about this is that the expiration date clearly stamped at the back of the soap! NEAT!
- A toner that balances the oil-to-water content of skin. This toner restores balance and nourishes the health of the skin. I tried this already and I must say that it is very fresh and very calming at the same time. The product has a natural extract from Lychee that can instantly soothes skin.
I use this every night before I go to bed, super light weight. Smells like Lychee since it has Lychee Extracts. It Really freshens my face after a long day in school.
3. SkinFood Trouble Clear Spot Patch
- A spot patch that helps heal pimples faster.
This is an acne patch to heal and reduces the swelling of the pimples. The product comes with one sheet of patches.
This is very easy to use. Just peel of the patch from the paper and place it on the troubled area of the face.
- A magic powder that take care of the blemishes and scne spots. This is recommended for more serious spot treatment. Apply this before sleeping and watch it dissapear the next day.
So before using this product, you have to wait until the powder will completely separate from the water. I was kinda amzed by this, If I hadn't read the instruction I won't know how this work. 😅😅😅
Then use a cotton buds as an applicator and place it on the troubled area of the face and voilà!! Best apllied before going to sleep. 👌🏽
5. Beuins Soothing Sleeping Mask
- A gel type soothing sleeping mask to calm down redness and sensitivities. It has Draconis Resina Extracts that protects and repairs skin Conditions.
This is a gel-type formula, and AHHHHHH! This is my favorite among all the items i received! Has a soothing feeling on the face! I love putting this proudct every night before I go to sleep! ❤️
6. Ladykin Fresh Watemelon Icing Gel Bar
- this Icing gel bar cools fatigued skin. This gel will keep your skin smooth and radiant.
So this like the Aloe Vera gel but this time it's Watermelon 🍉🍉🍉 love the cooling effect, this is so usefeul during summer time to keep your skin cool and hydrated at the same time!
7. Royal Skin Prime Edition Mask Moisture
- A daily mask that nourishes for healthy skin. Hydrate the skin for a healthy, balanced complexion. It increases your skin's moisture levels with this transparent compact mask.
All of the products mention are from the "Double Trouble Box" of Althea Korea.
This is the best set you can get especially for those with troubled skin! No need to worry about what to get cuz they already hand picked the items you will need for your troubled skin!
